A @SoxMachine Video Highlight presented by @ankinlaw @JRFegan asked Chicago White Sox director of hitting, Ryan Fuller, about Torpedo Bats. Great insight in how the White Sox evaluate which players would be a good fit for the bat model.
The lengths one man will go to justify eating piles of pesto pasta.

Man, I give the Mariners a ton of credit. To come back after burning through their pitchers in a 15 inning odyssey to win Game 1 and only give up one run is damn impressive.
From the start to the finish, Lakeview to Pilsen and through the final miles. There is truly a blessing to run this incredible event every year and I don’t take it for granted.

That's the Toronto Blue Jays 10th home run of the postseason (and counting) in five games played.

Hmm. On one hand, don't like a contact play with a catcher running. On the other, if Raleigh doesn't go, is that an easy 5-4-3 double play ending the inning?
Penn State fans hoping for Curt Cignetti should probably move on to their second option.
Andrew Vaughn has pulled off the rare feat of bringing major disappointment to Chicago baseball fans on both sides of town.

This sucks.
Cart is out immediately for Warner. Looked like he got rolled up on from behind.
Fegan just got him! This is entertainment.
Catching up on @SoxMachine podcasts - and @soxmachine_josh & @JRFegan missed him as well (rimshot).
Chilling at the Mile 23 mark. 1) I admire the hell out of everyone running this race 2) I still think y'all are crazy running this far

The White Sox were rolling with shorter-than-average players even before they actively started attempting to emulate the Brewers, but they showed how it was supposed to work. soxmachine.com/2025/10/spare-…
Doesn't matter if they lose their shortstop, their best pitcher, their turncoat manager or their general manager, the @Brewers just keep on trucking -- and show teams like the White Sox, Reds, Pirates, Cardinals, Padres, Twins and many others, it CAN be done. #respect.
Looked it up, and I think it'd be the first time since 1980 to have two teams that have never won meet in the world series. And shockingly, it would only be like 5 time ever
