Yesterday I spent the morning visiting primary schools for my own professional development. Today I am reflecting on what I saw. Here are my takeaways… 🧵
1. Thread on the most positive masculinity I've ever seen. A few years ago I worked in Leicester and would stop to get a takeaway curry on Narborough Road on way home. This was probably a Friday but can't be sure.
🧵 Imagine you went out for a meal. You’re happily enjoying your starter when the waiter whips it away from you & plonks down your main course. You’re a few bites in & then the same happens with your dessert, then your coffee. Then the waiter quickly clears the table & closes up

I’ve been asked by a Dad for a list of Apps that his reception age son can access to get him into coding, logical thinking and problem solving! What would everyone recommend?
Thanks. Yeah it’s all too slow. Think I need to move otherwise I’m relying on NEU colleagues to do the striking and lose their pay for my benefit; I’m not ok with that.
Schools don’t need more male role models. Schools need more boys to appreciate women.
