I don't see how a must-finish-N-stories "Sprint Goal" does anything at all useful for anybody, at least not if you have any pretense of agility. Everything from effort to "value" makes no difference. You won't know the value (or the effort) until after you deliver. ↓

Running tSQLt tests without the transaction is now possible. This allows for example testing of SSIS packages. It also allows you to shoot yourself in the foot. So, go gently.

Great session today. Loved everyone's questions at #PASSDataCommunitySummit. It seems a lot of people want to use #tSQLt on #AzureSQL DB. Let's upvote this @Microsoft feedback item: feedback.azure.com/d365community/…

Confirmed: The DNS records that tell systems how to find Facebook.com or Instagram.com got withdrawn this morning from the global routing tables. Can you imagine working at FB right now, when your email no longer works & all your internal FB-based tools fail?

tSQLt now has an official DACPAC as part of the release. It also fixes a problem that many hand-created DACPACs had in the past. So, if you're using a DACPAC to include tSQLt in your projects, you definitely want to check this new release out. #tSQLt #sqlserver

Sign up for the free @PassDataSummit to see great speakers like @TracyBoggiano, Andy Yun (@SQLBek), @_AlexYates_, Monica Rathbun (@SQLEspresso), and many others. - I’ll be there too, talking about “Unit Testing with tSQLt”.

#NoteToSelf: Don't use backslashes for paths in Windows (at least if your "language" of choice is not the command line) - you may unintentionally escape characters like the string-ending quote

Thinking about offering virtual office hours for #tSQLt to answer questions. Good idea?

I was going to write something longer on this, but I think I can summarise it in a line: Password only < password + SMS < password + authenticator app < password + U2F vice.com/en/article/y3g…

Very impressed that @redgate has opened up PASS Pro learning for the community red-gate.com/hub/university… And also the YouTube channel m.youtube.com/channel/UCCN1v… That’s brilliant and what I’d quietly hoped would happen. #sqlfamily - check out the content 😊
