Recent updates to Event Log Observer have been released. This application provides a modern GUI interface for exploring Windows event logs if you don't want to use the default user interface from the Win 2000 era. It is free for non-commercial use. lizard-labs.com/event_log_obse…
Many thought the developers were the drag. The dead weight on innovation. The expensive anchor slowing the shipping lanes of progress. Too many questions. Too much resistance. Always asking what the hell the system was supposed to do instead of just building it and shipping it…

Cursor: 'I saw 4 months of code and chose violence'
But Big AI keeps telling me programming will be dead in the next 10 months!
Do we still need UML class diagrams? I find naming convetions enough to navigate a complex code. For example if class name ends with Base, I understand the purpose of that class without a diagram).

My role was eliminated, and I'm in search of a new job.
I have never seen on a successful major project that wasn't born as a side project. Side projects allow maturing an idea to a decent point before 100s of people jump onto micromanage every decision.
Time to channel my network. My current contract expires at the end of the month. So I am looking for new opportunities. Do you know anyone who can use a very experienced #SQLServer developer, specialized in query tuning? Please reach out! Reposts appreciated. #OpenToWork
Log analysis: Where every line tells a story and every bug is a plot twist.
Just heard .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 support ends in 2029. Guess my legacy code is still cool, and my project’s upgrade procrastination strategy is officially approved! 😀 #Microsoft #humor
Not enough attention is given to how getting older in Tech, leads to increased anxiety and self esteem issues. The time spent in your early 20s programming until 4 AM, is now replaced with responsibilities that sometimes make you feel like you’re falling behind. 👇
