This past weekend I was given an award by my high school’s alumni association for outstanding achievement in arts. I am honored and humbled by their recognition.
So, I was paying with my credit card and the cashier was like “oh you have the same name as the person who wrote a book I just read.” I asked her the book’s title and when she said my book’s name, I said, “yeah, I wrote that book.” And she didn’t believe me! 😑
