On Thursday spent some time in day surgery in hospital. it went well and quite a pleasant experience with staff friendly.
Called the hospital and I need to be there by 10:30am Thursday 10 September that is tomorrow. It looks like being an overnight stay.
Contacted the hospital the other day to conform the date hadn't been changed and it was still the same.
Had a call from the hospital they had to cancel and reschedule the surgery to 10th of September.
Had a call from the hospital just letting me know what to pack etc and to conform a few details. The op will be the morning of August 25.
A date has finally been set for the procedure. It's August 25th. Will get a call from the nurse next Wednesday at 9am for debriefing.
A letter came in today advising that I had been booked in for surgery. There was also a brochure on anesthesia.
I was informed that I would be at the Ballina hospital instead of Lismore base and that I may be in for only overnight or day surgery.
Had a call from the hospital this afternoon just wanting some further info to be put on my application to be admitted.
Today I went to the urologist he did some tests and I may have to spend a night in hospital for a procedure within 4 to 6 months.
