The nasty comments against this, show what modern leftism on Internet has become. It is full of NPCs whose idea of economic activity is govt. jobs/PMC/NGO jobs. If you haven’t run into thuggish unions in Kerala it just shows that you have never pursued serious economic activity.
My mom fled death threats from the unions. She was pregnant with my sister when they tried to run her over. She was on her way to the airport when the union bosses arrived at her father’s home looking for her. Militant unionism in India, fostered by socialist govts, was a treat.
