Okay, smart meter install saga continues. 2 new meters installed, 2hrs. Data from electricity meter on in-home display. Gas data not displaying. British Gas help says it could take a week or possibly a month for the gas data & closing meter readings to appear on my account. ?!
"We need to know what areas are being switched off and when." Climate Minister Dr @AlasdairAllan heard from advisers at @AdviceDotScot who've been taking calls from people concerned about their Radio Teleswitch Service meters being switched off before they have a replacement.
The circumstances that allowed the PPM scandal sit across Government, regulator, suppliers & judiciary. A failure to protect which undoubtedly caused harm. Harm for some that compensation cannot adequately address. 2yrs is not speedy resolution. Scale of fines to be levied?
A positive outcome for so many people badly affected by shocking practices. Unbelievable that after more than 2yrs we are unclear about outcomes for British Gas customers whose practices were exposed in the national media. Same for OVO/Utilita customers.

Energy price cap falls from 1 July by 7% for gas/electric households. Reversing the April hike but leaving costs at winter highs. Debt unsustainably high, no social tariff/discount to help those that need it. A system needing reset for people above profit.
Heading into town in a wee while to give blood. 73 time of asking. I've missed a fair few opportunities in my time but I'd urge anyone who can give to do it. It can save a life or make one a lot better. @givebloodscot
Let's hope GB Energy actually delivers some meaningful investments that result in a lowering of energy costs for those that need it the most. Something more than hard hat wearing photo opportunities.

Having had my 2mnth wait for a @BritishGasHelp #SmartMeter installation cancelled I took the very next available one, a mere 5wk additional wait. But let's see if that actually happens. 14wks since first request. Populous, accessible, central Scotland.
