The right-click refactor option to convert existing completion-callback functions to async-await is very much appreciated! #SwiftUI #iosdev #iOS17

sometimes I replace my feelings with a new side project and I’m ok with that

From MVVM style 2-way bindings with @observable to reusing custom ui styles I'm loving #SwiftUI these past 2 days since I started my project rewrite. Compared to UIKit and Storyboards I feel like I can move mountains! #iOS17 #iOSDev

I first started using MVVM pattern back in 2008 when I developed Microsoft Silverlight apps. I continued to love using this pattern with original AngularJs. So when I heard about the latest @Observable in #SwiftUI for 2 way binding I felt like it was Christmas. 💪#iosdev

❓Do I need to use StateObject anymore for my Observable classes? 💡No. If your class uses @Observable, then you only need @State for it in your view. 📕Book: Working with Data in SwiftUI 🌐bigmtn.studio/data

Just finished reading "Mastering SwiftUI" by @simonng. Now catching up on the latest about Observable Macro and then I begin the conversion to Swift UI on Monday! Feels kind of like Christmas. #SwiftUI #iosdev #iOS17

It begins! I've been given a great opportunity to rewrite an existing app using Swift UI. I'm currently 1/2 way through reading the latest "Mastering SwiftUI" book. Thank you @simonng for the excellent resource! #SwiftUI #iOS17 #iOS
