Finally got a private website! I want to use it as a future playground for some weekend experiments. Feel free to pop over, play some ssssnake -~-~-~-~:= And hit me up if you you're in need for a freelance JS developer. meerpohl.dev

Alright so I‘m one day into @astrodotbuild and I think I‘m in love.

trying @astrodotbuild for the first time. CLI is killer!

I was just on the hunt for a nice HTML canvas drawing library that tickles my interest when I stumbled upon Konvas reference page for their line() object. Sold konvajs.org/api/Konva.Line…

I finally decided to read up on the event loop. I saw this talk twice. Once before reading all the references on MDN and once after. Only @jaffathecake can make me watch a talk twice. youtu.be/cCOL7MC4Pl0

Best line I‘ve read in while: „This is unfortunately a lie: the hidden rule is a User Agent style, which means it's less specific than a moderate sneeze“ meowni.ca/hidden.is.a.li…

I dislike the html date input field so much. It causes problems all over the place. Why has nobody thought of adding a format option? User agent settings are not enough for commercial websites that allow to change user culture independent from browser settings. #html #html5

Is there a way to set the supported ECMA script version in @ChromeDevTools? Kind of like throttling network or CPU performance? #ecmascript #javascript #devtools #chrome

One of the most commonly agreed on generic senior developer advice is: „You want a single source of truth for this.“ #developer

The new @SparkMailApp is super annoying with a new popup each time I open the app. How can I disable this?

Wow whoever named the cache control directives did a bad job!

I was just watching the @chriscoyier talk at @CascadiaJS and had to pause at ~11:00 because I did not know you can define a grid with just areas. I use grid every day. HOW DID I NOT KNOW THAT?! youtu.be/F18oy48jkrk

If there‘s something I learned as developer by now it‘s: Don‘t try to be a smartass when fixing other peoples code.

Alright, I‘m doing it. I work my way through the @reactjs source to level up

That‘s a cool read. An interview with Amazons first employee, a C++ developer, building one of the first dynamic websites ever.

A cool feature of @code user snippets is that you can capitalize variable names where needed. A good example is generating useState in React. I saw tons of snippet libraries not using this.
