While I'm discouraged that my fellow citizens elected a criminal as their president, I'm proud that I downplayed his criminality enough to maintain my status as a neutral reporter.

At least when daughters come home to their Trump dads and tell them they were assualted at school or on a date, the dad can tell them "That's a presidential quality."

Disagree. This is worse. Because people know exactly what they were voting for and said “yup, sign me up.”
The fact is that we have very secure elections. Any areas where there were known problems should be double checked, but there is no reason to suspect fraud at this time. Separately, Russia should be punished for their election disruption efforts.

No matter what happens, it saddens me deeply that rape, felonies, trying to overthrow our democracy, misogyny, racism and transphobia are somehow not deal breaks for 10’s of millions of Americans.
