With NAPLAN this last week please remember that these tests are a snapshot in time. There are many skills and character traits these test are incapable of measuring that are more important. Children need to be viewed as a whole person not a test result!

What’s with schs dictating to parents the contents of students lunch boxes? Totally support bans on food that are a risk to anaphylactic chn but stating no home baked goods, no this and that isn’t necessary. We need to foster in chn a heathy relationship with food not demonise it
We need to rethink how we educate students. More importantly we need to find more money to support and resource our Principals & staff so they continue to meet the ever changing diverse needs of students in their classes and schools! Our staff are the unsung heroes in education!

@ANZ_AU I’m sorry but 90 plus minutes on hold is not good enough and is the very definition of poor customer service!
If I’d been detained for 9 years, without charge or prospect of release, and I saw hundreds of people protesting for the release of a wealthy tennis player detained for a weekend, I would cry. I would cry until I had no tears left.
My friend Winnie never gets it wrong! Great life lessons and the only additional one I would add is to be grateful!

WA Police found missing four-year-old Cleo Smith in a locked house in the West Australian town of Carnarvon after an 18-day search of the state’s north-west coast.
And we need to appreciate when we have enough! So many go without anything!
