High temperatures today are expected to be a few degrees below normal across the region. This is in response to the fog and low clouds that will take time to burn off in the valleys.
Visible satellite imagery this morning shows areas of fog and low clouds in the interior valleys both east and west of the Cascades. The last front that moved through the region is now well off to our east.
Found my chainsaw! But Houston, we may have a problem. Found his den as well. I don’t feel my heart racing 100 mph very often, but this would be one of those times.

Here is a look at the 72 hour observed precipitation amounts across the region. The first round produced some very impressive rainfall numbers for early November.
Radar returns are picking up on the outer bands of precipitation that are staring to develop offshore. We can expect to see another round of showers developing throughout the day into this evening.
