I would love it if people download and try the demo. Going public is a big milestone for us, but it's the start of an even bigger challenge: getting attention. The Cybersonic Strike Demo is super replayable, and it's only going to get better as we add more content and features.

This is a step forward but any company currently working with Unity 2023 will likely need to upgrade to LTS at some point and then be subject to the new terms. They should be starting the new plan in Unity 2024, not Unity 2023 LTS.

When we paid for @unity licenses, the TOS stated that any updates would only apply to the next version of Unity. So if they updated while we were using 2022, we could keep operating under that TOS until we started to use 2023. Retroactively changing the terms is a broken promise.

The idea that @unity will gather data from our players, and we have no control over it, is upsetting. We invested time and money into Unity because the up-front fee gave us freedom. Now it seems they want to dictate how and where we can develop and sell. We hope this changes 😔
