The last film that I wrote and was produced this year was AFFIRMATION. A horror story about a father who blames his daughter for all the evil in the world. Shot in black and white beautifully by Dante Costello Watch here: youtu.be/loNHm5W9MqE And Letterboxd users can log it
The 2nd film I wrote was a monologue performed by a drag queen. Directed by the wonderful Andrew G Cooper and starring the great Ethan Taylor it captures the feeling of being lost in thought For a short time watch here: youtu.be/Vqvot52B_EI You can log this on Letterboxd too
Earlier this year I wrote 3 short films. THE ICK was the one I directed Yes loosely based on a bad first date but more based on my interest in the way we act online versus real life Watch here: tr.ee/0Aut6PAyd6 You can log it on Letterboxd if you’re that kind of freak
I think I just have to accept that there will never be a day where I’m not convinced I’ve forgotten to do something
Remember when Conan locked Bob Newhart in an airtight container so the Emmys wouldn’t run over 3 hours? Still maybe the funniest thing I’ve ever seen on an awards show. RIP Bob
This has to be one of THE funniest, most brilliant line readings of all time. This whole sequence never fails to crack me up.

Me in the middle of an out of body experience realizing I was about to show three short films I wrote and got made earlier this year
I think my favorite comment I got last night about the short film I wrote was from an 18 year old who said it felt like “the most Gen Z movie ever” because I don’t know if that’s good or bad

Sure but would a depressed guy have a 90 minute nap an hour after another 90 minute nap?
There’s a moment in Furiosa where someone on a bike totally wipes out for no reason while the rest of his gang keeps going and I’m convinced that it was a “mistake” that George Miller loved so much that he kept it in. It made me laugh.
I have to admit. The split reactions are making me even more excited to see this. That Karen liked it means I’ll probably love it!

Talk about your love of something the way Nathan Lane talks about his love of musical theatre. 🥹
What some of his films lacked in production quality were made up for with pure enthusiasm. He has a wild career and without him there would be no Little Shop of Horrors.
Legendary B-movie king Roger Corman, who directed and produced hundreds of low-budget films and discovered such future industry stars as Jack Nicholson, Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro, has died. He was 98. variety.com/2024/film/news…
Wait a second. I think these Ape films are trying to be metaphorical…
