Please @ODS_doinggood how is it helping for your team to come and have a snoop in our green bin then move mine and my neighbour's right over our driveway when we have visitors about to arrive by car? I pay @OxfordCity for better service than this.
Hi @GWRHelp I had terrible trips to London and back from Oxford yesterday. The train down was 50 mins delayed so I've claimed delayrepay. The return journey on the 2153 was not going to Oxford, and the 2218 was cancelled. Can I claim for the late return too?
Cheers @GWRHelp at Paddington. The 2153 is not taking its normal route via Oxford and the 2218 was cancelled with less than 10 mins notice. This is very poor indeed.
Happy Black History Month. Have a look at blackhistorymonth.org.uk where I think you'll find some excellent reading and learning, particularly in the features section.
For balance, it would be good if @BBCNews also included the response to this from @AndrewGant3. Spelling Anneliese's name correctly would be a bonus too. BBC News - Oxon County Council did not listen to congestion charge concerns, say Labour - BBC News bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…
Why are these here on Little Clarendon Street @OxfordshireCC ? I thought you had a policy that proscribed these signs?
It's just "Christ Church". It is NOT "Christ Church College" @TheOxfordMail @edwardburnettt (See chch.ox.ac.uk) oxfordmail.co.uk/news/25456690.…
The Lisbon funicular disaster is shocking and tragic. My heart goes out to all those who have been seriously injured or lost loved ones. The number of deaths is about 1% of the number of people killed on UK Roads in a year. That's life loss as above each and every four days.
So we welcome people here, charge them huge fees and give them great education through our great Universities then chuck them out. Genius. Not. BBC News - bbc.co.uk/news/live/cvg0… Home Secretary Yvette Cooper wants to 'clamp down' on international students claiming asylum
What is the point in listening to @BBCr4today when it allows politicians to spout barefaced lies entirely unchallenged? I thought it was meant to be an information programme?
The role of the church is absolutely to interfere in injustice. What do we think Jesus did? It's not just there to enjoy, as suggested in this article. theguardian.com/politics/2025/…
Would you trust an agent who can't do grammar and can't spell the name of the road they are boasting about?
Very poor advice from @MoneySavingExp on @limebike today. Didn't list all the places that they are available (Oxford has them too) and nothing about Lime pass which is by far the best way to hire them.
This is great but let's make it clear these "e-bikes" you're referring to, @matthew_barber, are actually illegal electric motorbikes. Increasing numbers of people depend on lawful e-bikes (meeting EAPC specification) for mobility and transport. Language is important from a PCC!
🛴 🚲 🛵 This morning I spoke to BBC Oxford about the increase in e-bikes and e-scooters being seized by Thames Valley Police - 1️⃣1️⃣8️⃣ in the month of June. I expect this number to continue rising with the increase in the size of neighbourhood policing teams and the work to…
Why does @RoyalMail continue to lie about missed delivery? I was home, all the doors were open, and the ring doorbell shows nothing. I can prove I was at home. Complete and utter lies from their delivery staff. NOT acceptable.
"When I was elected to be lord mayor, it encouraged so much more participation for people of my dissent." Or maybe @TheOxfordMail or @JournoToby means "...of my descent"? Quality journalism at its best. oxfordmail.co.uk/news/25214075.…
