The Lord’s Prayer (with praise of Prophet Muhammad) handwritten in Arabic by Omar ibn Said (1770-1864), an African slave from Senegal, captured at age 37 and brought to South Carolina to be sold. A ‘convert’ to Christianity, scholars conclude he remained Muslim until his death.
