The term PAMP (pathogen associated molecular pattern) is in the immunology lexicon. But what does pattern really mean? We need diverse ligands for a single receptor to decipher a pattern. LPS receptors, which detect non-LPS structures, may hold the key to answer this question.
1/ A new series of #CryoSPARC tutorial videos from this year’s S2C2 #cryoEM image processing workshop are now online! These videos will be interesting to all users and especially those newer to #cryoEM. youtube.com/playlist?list=…
today we are announcing reinforcement finetuning, which makes it really easy to create expert models in specific domains with very little training data. livestream going now: openai.com/12-days/ alpha program starting now, launching publicly in q1

There we go🤷. We have #alphafold3, @alexjamesnoble's VirtualIce, a plethora of (nearly) automated 3D reconstruction tools, #ModelAngelo... and AIs that can generate hypotheses, test them and write papers. #cryoEM can go home I guess.
In two new papers, researchers present AI agents that can do the entire job of a scientist – from hypothesis formulation, to literature research, data collection and analysis, all the way to writing a paper. youtube.com/watch?v=BXSuaY…
