NEW: @LosDeliveristas released the #DeliveringJustice report, detailing recommendations for protecting deliveristas and their rights, enchanting street safety & building a stronger micromobility infrastructure. You can read the report here: bit.ly/Street_Safety

Our team supported @LosDeliveristas in their urgent call to pass @JustinBrannan's bill to establish Just Cause protections for delivery workers. Every worker in every industry in NYC deserves fair labor protections on the job.

Proud to stand with @workersjusticep and @LosDeliveristas in calling for @NYCCouncil to pass @JustinBrannan's Int 1332, which would eliminate unjust deactivations of app-based delivery workers. Deliveristas are hardworking essential workers who deserve secure jobs and just pay.

✊🏾@workersjusticep stand w/ @NewYorkStateAG —the same courage & determination she shows defending all New Yorkers. Attacks on her are attacks on all working people, immigrants, & everyone fighting for justice. We’ll always stand w/ her — a true champion for the American Dream.
This is nothing more than a continuation of the president’s desperate weaponization of our justice system. I am not fearful — I am fearless. We will fight these baseless charges aggressively, and my office will continue to fiercely protect New Yorkers and their rights.

Deliveristas deserve transparency and safe, fair working conditions. Yet food delivery apps have unfairly, abruptly deactivated a 1,000+ delivery workers. We're proud to co-sponsor @JustinBrannan's Intro 1332, which adds just cause protections for the workers keeping us fed.

🔥 Out now from @amNewYork, read about Cossi and the thousands of other deliveristas who face automated exploitation and arbitrary firings at the hands of ruthless AI. Pass Intro 1332 to restore job security and worker safety!
An NYC deliverista’s job vanished overnight. In four months, so did a thousand others. ‘I just want my app back’ | amNewYork amny.com/news/app-deliv…
HAPPENING NOW: we’re marching with our allies @VendorPower around City Hall to call on @NYCCouncil to protect working people. Pass Int 1332 to stop unjust firings of deliveristas and the Street Vendor Reform bill to ensure worker dignity and job security!
Hey, hey! Ho, ho! Unjust deactivations got to go! @LosDeliveristas are taking action to urge @NYCCouncil to vote YES and pass Intro 1332 — a Just Cause law to protect job security and street safety for delivery workers.
Once again, we’re out here with @JustinBrannan, @NYCComptroller Brad Lander, and @JumaaneWilliams calling for @NYCCouncil to Pass Int 1332 to stop unjust firings and punishment of deliveristas!

🎧🔥Listen NOW: WJP ED @LigiaGuallpa speaks with @BrianLehrer of @WNYC and @nicolegelinas about real solutions for e-bike safety in NYC: wnyc.org/story/30-issue…
We are proud to work with so many amazing community organizations like @workersjusticep to connect with workers across NYC!

The Daily News and its journalists serve an essential function in our city. Given the assaults on free speech, democracy, and truth, now is a critical moment for newspapers to invest in their workers and staff.
Today, NYCCLC Pres Griffith testified before the City Council on proposed Resolution 1015-2025, condemning Alden Global Capital cuts & managerial hostility towards unionized Daily News staff and calling on the hedge fund to reach a contract deal with the newspaper’s union.

This weekend, a new cohort of Residential Cleaning Technicians graduated from a 5-day training w/ @workersjusticep & @workerinstitute. They gained tools to lead, organize, and uplift domestic work. Grateful to @NYCCouncil & the Day Laborer Workforce Initiative for the support!

Our office testified before the @NYCCouncil today on the impact of a changing climate on NYC workers. 👇

🚨 Once again, NYC’s Mayor is out of touch with the reality of delivery workers. Instead of protecting us, he’s giving the NYPD another tool to criminalize us—while ignoring the real problem: app companies pushing us to deliver faster under unsafe conditions and punishing us with…
Effective October 24, there will be a 15 MPH speed limit on all e-bikes, e-scooters, and pedal-assist commercial bikes in the five boroughs. You’ll still be able to get around with a New York hustle, but we’ll be making roads and bike lanes safer for pedestrians and everyone…

🚨NEW from @workersjusticep & @LosDeliveristas: @NYCMayor’s 15 mph e-bike limit is misguided & gives NYPD another tool to criminalize delivery workers. ✊🏽 @NYCMayor Stop scapegoating Deliveristas. @NYCCouncil — Pass Intro 1332 NOW — protections from unjust deactivations.

Uber agrees with us on something! Never thought that would happen. NYC Uber rep Josh Gold testified that drivers shouldn't be deactivated without notice in 99 percent of cases. Sounds like Uber should support Intro 276 - just cause protections for app drivers!
NYC fast food workers already won just cause protections. It’s time to expand those protections to Uber & Lyft drivers, who make up our city's largest private sector workforce. Join us outside City Hall at 11:30 AM on Thurs, Sept 25 to support intro 276!
From day one, you’ve had our back. Thank you, @NYCComptroller @bradlander, for ensuring @LosDeliveristas always have a seat at the table.
Last week, I was overjoyed to celebrate recent wins with @workersjusticep, @LosDeliveristas, and @helloDCWP—and push ahead to pass deactivation protections for the delivery workers who feed New York City!
