This is how little car users matter electorally: you can freeze the price of petrol even as crude prices fall like crazy, and then dilute the petrol, and then increase the duties on the petrol, and nothing happens. Literally no political consequences.

I checked at Indian Oil Pump yesterday. He said even Xtrapremium 95 petrol is mixed with E 20 now. Only Xtra Premium 100 is Ethanol free. The price per litre for XP 100 is INT 160/ Litre Moreover there is no such info, sign board on the Pump to educate a Layman consumer.…
