Remember #WritingCommunity, it does not matter what other people like. It only matters what we approve of.

In case we lost track today is Sunday which would normally be the day we lay around the couch and pretend to write all day if we hadn’t been doing that exact same thing every day for the last two weeks. #writing #amwriting #writingcommunity #finallygonnastartthisnovel

Remember to write at least five thousand words a day while sheltering in place. This is when we find out if we truly belong in the #writingcommunity #amwriting

Is #PitMad still happening or did we call it off because of the Virus?

Will definitely be going to #AWP20. Will definitely not be tweeting. Busy making connections with people you don’t have access to. #amwriting

True writers are up at 5AM writing even on a Sunday so don’t even think of yourself as a member of the #WritingCommunity unless you’ve already put in at least a couple thousand words today.

Clearly Mister Todd here has no understanding of what the #WritingCommnunity is. How will anybody know who the good writers are if we don’t publicly and mysteriously disapprove of the ones getting too excited about finally achieving their life’s dream?

if you're the kind of person who attacks, mocks, or subtweets people who celebrate their acceptances, for your own sake you should unfollow me, I plan on being happy and loud and successful this year

This is why you don’t want to be on the wrong side of the #WritingCommunity. It’s probably more important than the quality of your manuscript. #amwriting

This is the problem with twitter. Always someone who wants to turn a serious conversation into a joke. We don’t joke about serious social issues in the #WritingCommunity. In fact, we don’t have fun at all.

To be clear, we disapprove of fiction authors writing characters with whom they have no shared experiences, and we are our outraged on behalf of members of the #writerscommunity with whom we have no shared experiences. #WritingCommunity #amwriting #amoutraged #AmericanDirt

And what better way to ignore something than by continuing to think and tweet about it for weeks! #amreading #amwriting #amignoring

be like me: ignore American Dirt and read Sentimental Education, a book about our time that happens to have been published in 1869

Excellent reminder in case we forgot we’re supposed to hate this woman. Remember #WritingCommunity, we only blindly validate and support #FellowWriters who are less than successful than we are. That’s what gives the hierarchy its structure. #amwriting #amsupporting

This is just to say that @zero0jack is dismissed from the #WritingCommunity for attempting to question the validity of “the own voices thing” and disrespecting all the #FellowWriters who have worked so hard to promote diversity by only writing characters exactly like themselves.

As leaders of the #WritingCommunity, we fully endorse this model. (Also, please submit to our LitMag)

Well do you want to be a successful writer or do you want to be part of the #writerscommunity. Why would you think this is about supporting #FellowWriters ?

I see my tweets today questioning why I should continue writing even if very few people will ever read my work were enough to get a few hundred people to unfollow me so far. Thanks for the support, #WritingCommunity.

Yes, Lauren. Grovel.

I am definitely the fool.
