No RFC yet, but it's on our roadmap - perhaps for 3.1. Current syntax I have in mind: gist.github.com/arcanis/df6da3…

I wish JavaScript package managers had a concept of "variants". Give me the CommonJS or the ES version of a package, but I really don't want both.

@sterblue is now supporting @yarnpkg with a ( so far modest ) monthly contribution. Happy to see more and more open source projects go for this fairer model ( @GraphileHQ is another one we support ). Would be more than happy to increase that ASAP.

25 ☝️ Prefer using the `portal:` or `link:` protocols over per-tool alias configuration (like Webpack aliases). If you’ve enabled PnP, you often don’t even have to bother: just use your package name in your imports! It’ll Just Work ✨ yarnpkg.com/features/proto…

20 🙅‍♀️ Yarn lets you disable build scripts on a per-package basis, using `dependenciesMeta.built`. It also supports the opposite: disabling build scripts by default, and enable them on a per-package basis! yarnpkg.com/configuration/…

19 👷 The `yarn patch` command lets you modify your package sources safely, keeping your changes in their own separate patch files that Yarn then applies at install-time. yarnpkg.com/features/proto…

18 🤹 It also supports positional arguments (`$1`, `$2`, …), including `$@`! It means you can reference the args from anywhere within your script, even the middle. Better yet, you can reference them from multiple places inside the same script definition yarnpkg.com/configuration/…
