I'm registered for the Microsoft Ability Summit. Looks pretty cool: abilitysummit2022.eventcore.com

Amazing attention to detail in word. When you use vertical text, the icons in the toolbar go sideways.

Wow, been a while since using eBay. It's really gone downhill. I have a 100% positive feedback rating, 200 reviews, and they're holding my funds, AFTER taking a $261.32 cut.

How are you all backing up your cloud storage? OneDrive, Dropbox, iCloud etc.? It's great now that OneDrive intelligently downloads files on-demand, but that means I don't have a great way to back them up without turning it off.

Is there a polite way to ask "what is the purpose of this meeting and why do I need to be included?"

I remember when I was betting against self-driving cars 5 years ago and the number of people that thought I had completely *lost my mind*. 8 years should be interesting. I'm still with @codinghorror on this one.

I have another long-term bet: I bet @codinghorror $10k that by January 1st, 2030, completely autonomous self-driving cars meeting SAE J3016 level 5 will be commercially available for passenger use in major cities. \

We spend so much time with the latest js frameworks, only to deal with package version hell, bloated pages, and a complex changing dev environment. Sometimes it's refreshing to just build a streamlined server side app that loads instantly.

Did my subliminal message yesterday help anyone today?

I finally figured out a workaround to one my biggest annoyances. Espanso + a custom python script allows me to paste Outlook "safelinks" and automatically decode them. github.com/ytechie/espanso

Ironic when sites with a 1 step login add an additional step asking if you want to enable 1-step logins.

Everyone posts their Wordle mastery, but not their fails. Today that changes. Wordle 208 X/6 ⬛🟨🟨⬛⬛ 🟨⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ ⬛🟨⬛⬛🟩 ⬛🟨⬛⬛🟩 ⬛🟨🟨⬛⬛ <- totally gave up here

Why can you e-sign something authorizing the use of e-signatures? Isn't that a paradox?
