Day 20 #Archives30 #Acollection of paperclips and paper fasteners collected and saved up by a preservation assistant who was working on the rehousing project. They came from documents from 1890s -1940s . She gave them to me as leaving present, so glad she did! #keeperofthings

Day 4 of #Archive30 is #ACollection. My favourite @LibraryArchives is the Topley Studio fonds. Since we have the glassplate negatives and the copy books we get to see the magic of early photographic manipulation. Here a little white paint on the negative makes for falling snow.

#Archive30 Day 4 #ACollection I’m currently working on as part of our Lesbian Lives project is the LesPop (Lesbians and Policing Project) Archive. Les Pop was set up in London in 1985 to support lesbians and monitor their treatment by the police.
