I'm excited to announce that my One-Act "Portrait of a Demolitionist" will be featured in this. It's about a board-game enthusiast who processes her breakup (or doesn't) by playing shoots and ladders with the painting of a woman that has suddenly come to life.
Brilliant breakdown of white supremacy in music theory....I spent years trying to create a system to develop new BIPOC musicals (based on #AlterLab, w/@phnyc's Kent Nicholson), not realizing just how hard we'd have to fight for funding. But this makes me want to fight again!
