I thought Notepad had gone insane on me and was substituting single characters for certain character pairs, ... before realizing it was the visual effect of using the #CascadiaCode font, which features "ligatures". Switching to #CascadiaMono restored sanity!
I use #CascadiaCode - I really hope VS2022 adds proper font variant support though.
Is the development of Selawik font abandoned? I don't know whom to ping. Cascadia Code and Segoe UI Variable font on the other hand are getting updates. Anyone knows any update on that? Currently Selawik misses true italics and bold typeface. #Microsoft #Font #CascadiaCode

Fonts comparisons in VisualStudio: default #Consolas, #CascadiaCode and #JetBrainsMono... using ligatures (=>). JetBrainsMono is more pleasant in the alignments of spaces.
