I think it's almost impossible for a president to make broad, sweeping changes in one term when working with an extremely partisan, obstructionist Congress. If there is reasonable cooperation among the branches it may be possible. #CodeRedBookClub

I particularly liked the description at the start of Chapter 2 of what a truly conservative (in the best sense) GOP would look like. We need two viable parties in this country. We don't have them at the moment. #coderedbookclub

I agree that voting for hopes is far preferable to voting from fear, but the republic has to be preserved before any democratic hopes are attainable. I don't consider myself a dramatic person, but there it is for me. #CodeRedBookClub
