Day 16 of #100daysofcode I was reading an article that made me create my first #Python project: An algorithm that returns the letter of your Spain ID card. So I decided to continue the coding day with a new #Codewars challenge. It took me 45 minutes to solve an indentation bug🪲

Here is a redo of my #codewars Algorithm kata from yesterday. I was curious about the implementation of .reduce() method to only have to iterate over the list once. I like how it turned out. TBH I did get a little help from my friends on this one, but not bad!

I struggled with destructuring values in a list comprehension. At first, I found it challenging. To better understand the logic, I wrote out the code using a for loop. This exercise helped me grasp how to effectively implement destructuring within list comprehensions. #codewars
So hyped that nowadays I know how to make a hashTable Object, where the values are functions! 😁 Blew my mind the first time I saw it #100devs #codewars
Yesterdays's Codewar Exercise.. Your task is to make a function that can take any non-negative integer as an argument and return it with its digits in descending order. Essentially, rearrange the digits to create the highest possible number. codewars.com/kata/5467e4d82… #codewars
Level 5 and had not practice for more than 2 weeks... I could tell I was in reaaally bad shape. Level 4 is not for today ^^ #codewars #python
Regex ready Learned today that using ^ at the beginning and $ at the end anchors your search to match the entire input from start to finish #python #codewars #regex
Day 8 #100daysofcode Didn't have much time today, but I helped my daughter code with Tinkercad. I also completed this #Codewars challenge and learned the .isdigit() method. Finally, I created a #Python function that returns whether a chessboard tile's colour is white or black

Day 15 of #100daysofcode Passed a #Codewars challenge (Kata8), where ou are given two interior angles (in degrees) of a triangle. Write a function to return the 3rd. I also replicated a median() method

Day 14 of #100daysofcodeI coded a -way too easy- challenge to create a #Python function that converts a number into a string. So, I decided to take on a new #Codewars challenge: Write a function which takes a list of strings and returns each line prepended by the correct number
Day 13 of #100DaysOfCode Coded my #Codewars challenge to create a car rental calculator 🚘 I also completed Exercise 13 from Al Sweigart’s book, which replicates the sum() and product() functions. BTW, #Python coding pairs perfectly with bread 🥖 making and its long wait times!
Day 12 of #100daysofcode I just completed a really cool #Codewars challenge to find a needle in a haystack. It's a really good way to refresh #Python methods. I also replicated the min() method, exercise #12 of Al Sweigart's book Learn. Share. Be grateful 😎

Day 10 of #100DaysOfCode I completed 5 list challenges on my #Codecademy track. On #Codewars, I calculated a team’s total points from match results based on score. And exercise 11 from AlSweigart book Not sure why I'm even studying #Python for, but this is so freaking cool!!! 🐍
Day 9 of #100DaysOfCode 🚦 My #Codewars challenge was a traffic light controller in Python (green → yellow → red). 🐍From Al Sweigart’s book (Exercise 10), I built a Python function to find and replace words in text. Two fun exercises today! #Codecademy study time now 🐍📖

I had fun with this one! Really working on my pseudocode with the encouragement from @travislcraft. Multiple refactors, but it's a start! I solved the "Multiply Word in String" kata! Take the code initiation @ codewars.com/r/vtqJXQ to enlist and challenge yourself. #codewars
Day 21 of #100DaysofCode Explained programming concepts to my peers using analogies and it was a game-changer! (make abstract concepts feel relatable.) And, I tackled a @codewars problem on string manipulation. Still improving, but progress is progress! #100DaysOfCode #codewars
Day 20 of #100DaysofCode (I know my math ) Turns out I did two day 14's ... Still on Object Oriented Programming. Mastered the 4 major concepts of OOP: *Inheritance *Encapsulation *Polymorphism *Abstraction Experimented with classes and solved real world scenarios

Doing a #Codewars - just a baby one but I got very into it. I wrote it all out. All tests are passing, checked in Codewars too, and they are good there! I think I might go make a small binary converter with this little fun challenge #100daysofcode
I remember when I used to take 30 minutes to answer this question on #codewars and now it takes seconds

#100DaysOfCode Day: 7️⃣3️⃣ 👩💻 Continue working on my Landing Page (a bit slow because everything from scratch, without template) and completed 3 katas on #codewars
