Some Debug.DrawRay to help debug vectors. This is when I had two initial vectors worked out, the smaller vector showing velocity which inverts when the edge distance hits its limit - shown by the 2nd vector projected out from the iris center. #GameDev #Unity #DevThread
Added some local X/Y movement for debugging. transform.TransformDirection(velocity) is your friend! Here it converts the local 2D velocity vector into 3D World space to be applied to the iris object. (Took a bit to work that out...) #Programming #DevThread #UnityDev #GameDev
