I’ve got a Douglas Fir tree in my back garden and I named him Albert the Infallible, First of His Name, King of the Pinaceae, Lord of the Evergreen Conifers and Protector of the Coast and Rocky Mountain #GoT #GameOfTrees
So this has been common with this tree the Robins like to nest in. An early arrival will stake out the tree, sometimes for weeks, and then another will come by and literally 'muscle their way in' making it their territory. She'll be ok tho if she loses 'this' spot.😉 #GameOfTrees
