A sim or computational model works well. We (my Ss and I) code a simple UCM Earth-moon model using Vpython/#GlowScript. Ss adjust initial speed of the moon by +/- 10%, to reveal elliptic. Qs: When is moon speeding up/slowing down? What do you notice re: v and a angles?
