I have seen a few of these beautiful spiders the last couple weeks. I think it might be Misumena vatia, commonly known as the goldenrod crab spider. It can change color from white to yellow to match the flower it is waiting in. #KSCinvertebrates #KSCBio
I was surprised by this beautiful snake yesterday. I think it is an Northern Water Snake (Nerodia sipedon sipedon). It was over 3 ft. In length and the girth of her body looks like she might about to give birth. Anybody know their NH snakes? #KSCBio #NHsnakes
