AF Research Intern, @jenyotto releasing captive reared #TigerSalamanders into an outdoor tri-phasic #mesocosm developed to breed the species. This species was added to the State Wildlife Action Plan in GA, but is not a listed species.

Today - weeks ahead - MSc students Mariella and Quentin started collecting final data from our #mesocosm experiment. Why? The extreme heat (+5c above May average!) pushed tadpoles to hyperrapid metamorphosis. Climatic extremes have consequences also on research.
