Ok I’ve finally figured out my pen name drama… fr fr this time. Now I can write more freely #methodwriter

#DAT Q2 I think of myself as a #methodwriter, which probably involves a lot of planning, although in terms of how the story builds, I think It's more of an organic process, so a bit pantsy too! I think my ADHD hyper-focus helps me to inhabit all my characters and build my world.

#QATalk The way I would write it! By which I mean I identify as a #methodwriter, so I play all the parts in my head, I speak all the dialogue, and I choreograph physical scenes. I go over and over, being everyone in turn, until it feels right, then I finally start writing.

#DAT I'm a #methodwriter so maybe more of a planner, but with pantsy elements! My ADHD lets me hyperfocus on a scene in my head until it feels right, so by the time it is written, I will have hopefully got rid of all the awful, so we're starting at the 'pruning & tidying' place

#DAT I identify as a #methodwriter & spend a lot of time in my head with my people, choreographing scenes, dialogue, etc before anything gets written down, which takes time. If I do feel blocked I leave it & work on something else - a poem, flash or short story for a while.

I identify as a #methodwriter, so I think the two are tangled up together! I check Oslo weather every day, watch webcams and generally inhabit the world I build for my people! It's easy to forget about mobility issues when I can skip along the boardwalk close to 'our' apartment!

OK, so I identify as a #methodwriter so I will spend days or even weeks working through every scene, playing every part, speaking all the dialogue, choreographing every *ahem* romantic scene. I edit and refine many times before ever committing anything to a document.

Yeah 😔. Not so much a limit, as a style of working - I'm #methodwriter all the way, so I work through every scene many times over days , editing and refining, b4 I ever commit a single word to a manuscript. So just sitting and writing without that process is super stressful!

I'm a #methodwriter, and for me the very best part is the time I spend in my head blocking out the scenes, refining the dialogue and choreographing the love scenes - I probably go through it all 20-30 times before I ever set a single word down!

#romtalk I identify as a #methodwriter and I pretty much go through the whole story 20 or 30 times, including all the conversations, before ever writing a word, so short answer is yes, absolutely! Although there is always room for an emergency lane change!

By the time I actually write anything down, stuff like that has already been worked out in my head time after time after time, even down to dialogue, so the "first" draft is like the 30th! Which means not much changes from then on. #methodwriter

Me too....but sadly only in Street View! But I am something of a #methodwriter so I know the places Rosa goes well enough to recognise them in programmes etc!! I am so jealous of you. I tell myself, if I get my book published, and if it ever makes any money, I'm going to Oslo!

28/03 Hard to untangle the two, actually...there'll be something which sparks the idea, but that tends to come with characters already attached! On the whole, I think I'm naturally more character-driven. But then again.... #methodwriter #RevPitWaiting

Just like my biggest #influence #QuentinTarantino I also consider myself to be a #methodwriter. It’s how I also connect with my #characters & #scripts, while also going a bit further & a bit more extreme. This is also probably one of the first places I saw the term. ✍🏻🧙🏻‍♂️📚📖

Just an early look of what the Multiverse of #TheKarlowiverse might look like. Not so sure about FF or X-Men yet. As a #methodwriter I’m known for writing the #scripts as if these versions would exist. Same goes with #Lennie & #AFallofGrace. ✍🏻💡📚

For me, being a #methodwriter helps me to better treat my #characters the right way since it helps me to further understand everything about them that’s needed to make them fully formed complex individuals. This can also assist in better understanding the #script as well.

I view myself as a #MethodWriter, as well as a #MethodFilmmaker. It is a bit like #methodacting. Meaning, in order to get a better understanding of the story & my characters, I will act like my characters & also do extensive research.
