Got #microROS working on a Wio Terminal over Serial. I've tried everything, but for some reason I cannot establish a WiFi connection.. For now, Serial comm works well alongside the UncannyEyes and FastLED loops. Not publishing/subscribing anything yet, only setting up..

Setting up a #microROS demo for some colleagues using a Micromod #Teensy and a VL53L5CX ToF imager. Turns out the mounting holes on these qwiic sensors match perfectly with the Micromod carrier board..


Finally got the #microROS nodes working with #ROS2 Humble! I had to remove the parameter server for now and my PS4 Bluetooth connection keeps dropping. I also need to retune the PID controllers. But at least it moves! #robotics #rpi4


A sneak peek at what I'm doing at work these days. It uses a (slightly) modified version of #ROS and #microROS nodes from my personal robot platform AKROS which works seamlessly with this robot. Eventually it will also have a depth camera, a lidar and a robot arm.

Couldn't resist working on the robot mid-week. I moved the Lidar to the front to make the robot more compact. Also added a parameter server to the micro-ROS firmware for tuning the PID controllers on-line. #microros #ros #ros2 #robotics
