You don't learn to code by watching tutorials. You learn when the code throws an error. You learn when you delete 100 lines and start over. You learn when you have to read the documentation. The real education is debugging your own mess.
I like how @s_gruppetta explains what coding is. Coz I used to think coding is basically just learning syntax and writing codes * "Coding is communication with a computer" * "Programming is a mindset—learning to think in a way that's compatible with computers."

#verkiezingen2025

Now that I’m settled, it’s my turn to speak on the WordPress vs coding discussion that’s been going on: 1️⃣ It’s not a competition: Every time CMS development is mentioned, some coders get triggered. No one’s comparing; the truth is, both have their own optimal use cases. 2️⃣…
The biggest debatable topic among ios developers: SwiftUI vs UIKit. Look at an ios developer who's using objective-c for iOS app development & enjoying the debate :

All these AI tools but me still getting stuck on a simple debugging problem for hours. And then manually solving it, some things even AI can't solve. That is where you need humans.
You aren't paid to "get it working". You're paid to make an incremental change to an existing codebase in a way that doesn't break what was happening, and is easier to make changes to in the future
Using text opacity to visualize information flow of source code is such an insanely good idea. Imagine using a small model to auto-highlight fuzzier concepts like contextual relevance. Only working on backend code? Opacity fade UI functions…etc
Quick thoughts on what programming is, and a slow approach to expanding on why I think we are at the stage where syntax is becoming obsolete. TLDR: Programming is instructing. And so is Vibe Coding...

Inside the Mind Of A PROGRAMMER (More Than Just 0s and 1s?)
Software development is 10% writing code and 90% figuring out why the code you swear worked yesterday doesn’t today. #softwaredevelopment #codinglife
Young developers are trained to solve problems with syntax, but not to see life with sense. They write logic for machines — but forget the human logic that runs behind every click, every hesitation, every touch. — Yozen Balki 🌿

Do y'all know how difficult it is to explain syntax to someone who doesn't know an iota of programming?
