Just discovered #linopy for linear optimization with python. It's amazing! Converting one of my #pyomo energy system models was fairly easy and cut runtime by half ⏱️ I can only recommend: linopy.readthedocs.io/en/latest/inde… Great work by @fabianmarik and others from the #PyPSA universe

Resolution can be also arbitrarily adjusted to max. 300-1000 nodes or so. Our work on grids #mapyourgrid mapyourgrid.org really helps with getting good public grid data for such analysis & the open source backend here is used #pypsa + #pypsaearth

We analysed 24 #energysystemmodels (ESM) from the #opensource community. Based on the classification we developed a questionnaire, filled by ESM developers (thank you!), and an evaluation framework. #PyPSA #pandapower #oemof @EnergyPLANmodel @squoilin @openmod (4/7)
