"Reactivity" was a mistake imo. There are some obvious reactive surfaces (internal state changes, sizing, position, ...) but in most cases you are already triggering a change somewhere. Calling a method to re-render when you know you need to just makes life easier for everyone.

I realized my portfolio didn't match my ability. So I spent the last 5 days making sure it is up to standard. The Goal: Move from "Static Gallery" → "Reactive System." 5 days. Next.js, Sanity, R3F. Built with: @nextjs @sanity_io @greensock @threejs Here is the…

A production-grade ReAct loop should: -Enforce strict JSON: thought, action, final_answer -Use an explicit tool allow-list -Guard with max_turns + token budget -Survive tool failures and keep going Same ReAct idea as the paper, hardened for prod.

I pushed the structure of THE ARCHIVE through two iterations. Which aesthetic best communicates enduring quality? Version A: High contrast, vertical text architecture. (My initial Figma direction) Version B: Refined, horizontal text and minimalist composition. Made with @Lovable

4. Master Agentic Design Patterns (These Show Up in Interviews) Companies will ask about these concepts: - ReAct (reason + act) - Reflexion (self-improvement loops) - Tree-of-Thoughts (branching reasoning) - Planning & subtask decomposition - Validator agents -…

A lot of talk about AI for operations skips this architectural layer. If we don’t get the pattern right, we’ll build systems that are hard to steer or secure. I sketched four design patterns and their risk profiles here: open.substack.com/pub/jasonstanl…

I'm excited to be speaking later this month at NodeTLV. If you're around make sure to come say hi. For many of us, we write a lot of Node.js code, but in my short talk I'll walk through some reactive patterns you can apply right away to optimize your code. See you there!

Patterns.dev buff.ly/0uqPboy is a free online resource on design, rendering, and performance patterns for building powerful web apps with vanilla JavaScript or modern frameworks.

Why this pattern rocks: 1. Performance: Avoids unnecessary joins for inactive users 2. Readability: Clear business logic (active vs inactive handling) 3. Flexibility: Easy to modify thresholds or add conditions

また、ReAct = Agentic RAGは乱暴すぎると思います。

🪑This manual retractable seating system is a neat example of adaptive spatial design. The tiers fold back by hand without any motors, opening up the hall or gym for completely different uses in seconds. A clean, efficient mechanism that turns fixed seating into a flexible,…
