The authors detect GLP-1R using an antibody from Uping Bio that also detects GLP-1R in HepG2 cells & HeLa cells, cell lines that do not express the GLP-1R. 3 decades after cloning of the GLP-1R, many papers reporting GLP-1R expression remain compromised by non-validated reagents
