My favourite python library for #MicrosoftFabric is #Sempy which has been updated overnight to ver 0.6.0 pypi.org/project/semant… You can now list apps, calc_items, columns (enhanced), dataflows, datasources, gateways, perspectives, hierarchies, translations and more. #PowerBI

Loving the new Semantic Link in #Fabric. I needed to refresh a semantic model with effectiveDate and was exploring custom Power Automate connectors and python scripts with TMSL and authentication. With #sempy it was so much easier.

Without having proof (for now), I consider using #sempy to write DAX-based calculated columns back to the #Lakehouse, is a major step (even it looks small) in improving #dataquality and at the same sharing the expertise with other teams (meaning tools)

Using #Sempy to query PBI Premium DMVs. Trying to write output delta via .to_lakehouse_table() but running into TypeErrors like "TypeError: field FormatString: Can not merge type <class 'pyspark.sql.types.StringType'> and <class 'pyspark.sql.types.DoubleType'>" Any ideas?
