I’m rebuilding the Maglev Editor UI with #Hotwire + #ViewComponent. Still work in progress but look at this animation test 👇 (VueJS on the left, Hotwire + View Transition on the right) Same polish, no JS build chain. Just #RubyOnRails and a bit of CSS magic ✨ #MaglevCMS

🚀 Excited to pre-launch RapidRails UI! 🎉 🥳 A seamless UI kit for #RubyOnRails, blending #TailwindCSS with #ViewComponent for effortless design. Perfect for devs seeking efficient and stylish #UI solutions. Stay tuned for more! 👀 🔗 rapidrails.cc

Tiene pinta que encontré un #bug en @dotnet core 3.1 Cuando Model. Results, una List<T> no tiene elementos, se cae sin ni siquiera generar una Exception. #Razor #ViewComponent

I've always felt rendering #ViewComponent with #rails is a bit too verbose. Especially if you have namespaces. E.g: render(Admin::Navigation::Item.new(label: 'Example')) I've used a helper to make it nicer on 2 projects so far. Maybe make it into a gem?

I spent 2 days searching for a solution that was right in front of me🤦🏽‍♂️ Pro tip for my fellow #Rails #devs working with #ViewComponent & #TailwindCSS, Don't forget to clue in TW about where components are hiding. It's a real 'aha!' moment saves time & spares your sanity! #DevLife

@shanselman I'm sure you are the right person for my question. Is there away to do a 404 redirect from a #ViewComponent in asp.net core? does this make any sense?

I won’t migrate the Maglev editor UI to Vue 3 + Typescript. No more Node/Yarn. No more transpilation hoops. Rebuilding it with #Hotwire + #ViewComponent, keeping the same UI/UX polish — but now fully customizable 👌 Follow along, #RubyOnRails folks 🤘

Thanks for the response! Further explanation: I'm using a #ViewComponent for displaying a Item Detail but if this detail is not found I need a way to return a proper 404. All the logic for retrieving the detail at ViewComponent Level.

I’ve tried contributing to #OSS. Some of my contributions are to #stimulusreflex #viewcomponent and a gem my friend made. But these were trivial “good first issues”. Haven’t had the expertise to make a significant contribution.

TFW magical godly powers course through your fingers once more: Rails 6.1 + ViewComponent + StimulusReflex... Holy sheeeeeet words doesn't even do it justice. It's like falling in love with Rails all over again ♥️ #rubyonrails #stimulusreflex #viewcomponent #reactisobsolete
