Usually, I just look for birds, but sometimes settings are so beautiful that I wait near them, hoping a bird appears. That's exactly what happened when this Ruby-throated Hummingbird came to feed on Cardinal flowers in Central Park! ❤️❤️❤️ #Hummingbird #CentralPark #birdcpp

According to Merlin, these were two fish crows that loudly called to each other from our rooftop railing in Morningside Heights and a nearby roof before one joined the other. Anyone know how to tell fish crows from crows? #birdcpp

Great Blue Heron - These herons have a wingspan of 6 feet and can fly at speeds of 20 to 30 MPH. Seen at Bow Bridge. After flying across the Lake, s/he landed on a dirt path and flew directly at me, looking rather funny and awkward in the last picture. #birdcpp @BirdCentralPark
