I've some free time left, and don't know if I shall start working on #WebAssembly and #Bytecoder, the #JVM to #WebAssembly compiler, again. Ideas? I could also grab by Guitar and have fun without technology at all 😀
After months of inactivity due to personal reasons, I've released a new version of #Bytecoder supporting the now official #Wasm #GC standard. Checkout github.com/mirkosertic/By… for #Java #JVM to #JS, #Wasm and #OpenCL cross-compilation!
A new #Bytecoder release is out in the wild! Checkout github.com/mirkosertic/By… for #JVM to #Javascript, #OpenCl and #Wasm / #WebAssembly compilation. Spoiler: more aggressive compiler inside.
The first release of #Bytecoder with #Wasm #GC support is finally available! Most compiler optimizations are disabled, but will be ready soon. Checkout github.com/mirkosertic/By… for #JVM bytecode to #Wasm, #OpenCL and #JS compilation.
Welcome #Bytecoder to Wasm GC party 💃🕺

The new #Bytecoder #JVM bytecode to #webassembly backend based on new #gc proposal is slowly getting into shape. Great times ahead! However, testing and bug fixing code generation code is really cumbersome.

I am still waiting to for the return of #Java to the browser (yeah, I am that old). The WebAssembly initiative may be the main route to achieve that, and the development of #Bytecoder oroject may provide the pillars to get there fast: mirkosertic.github.io/Bytecoder/
I started out mostly live, but moved to async because they were easier to schedule. The newer async live sessions gives more of the live experience , which are good, too. #byteCoder
