What _isn't_ a "dropdown", that is currently called one? Honest question. I'd always developed it as an abstraction for an element that opened a selection interface...but at what point does that interface _really_ stop being a "dropdown"? #developingDesignSystems

I'd say "Grouping styles with higher-order variables" & "Interactions in CSS" are the killer app we didn't even know we needed for Container Queries! Especially in #webComponents. This might even remove the need for ::--state() or whatever the selector has become over iterations.

#developingdesignsystems @WestbrookJ The design systems (design) team also does not necessarily communicate over the accessibility requirements. For our team, this has always been a collaborative effort with our engineers. I would consider it a part of our design process.
