Apart from flicker we can get 7 enemies + the worst weapon to draw/collide on screen without slowdown. I could control enemy firing to avoid CPU spikes too. This should be more than enough, especially with bigger/less enemy sprites. #mastersystem #homebrew #devkitSMS

If you mean that VRAM is enough for, say, 2048 tiles but you have to fit PNT and SAT in there too - that's the same for the #MasterSystem, so actually it's something I'm used to. 😀 Thanks! (the attached map is how #devkitSMS organizes VRAM)

I've just coded a shorter SMS_addSprite function that takes 170 CPU cycles only (opposed to 212) by *not* testing availability and whether Y value is valid or not. Is it worth releasing? Would you find that useful? (well, I'm mostly looking at you, @nath_mojon 😊...) #devkitSMS
