#Onthisday Gunner Edwin Bird of the Royal Garrison Artillery died of pneumonia on 4th January 1915 aged 23. He died in hospital in Brighton less than a month after enlisting. He is remembered at St Marys Churchyard, Bushbury near Wolverhampton. #EOHO @CWGC.

#Onthisday Guardsman John George Meredith of the Grenadier Guards died on 22th January 1919 aged 26. He is buried in his home town of Willenhall near Wolverhampton in St Giles Churchyard, the church where he was baptised in January 1893. #EOHO @CWGC.

Made the most of a dry morning and I have done a spot of #EOHO . I did spot something and wondered if anyone can tell me have the @CWGC @HelenR864 Green signs changed . The first one is at Edington Priory church in Wiltshire and the second one is at Bratton church in Wiltshire.

Just visited one of my local @CWGC war graves. The #EOHO team looks after both Commission headstones and private memorials. Samuel Pope was a Gunner in the Royal Marine Artillery and fell in 1916. His grave needed a bit of sprucing up for #WarGravesWeek
