This semester, I’m teaching #MTH1W for the 2nd time. It’s the 1st time I’ve given students freedom in note-taking and focusing on meaningful notes. I believe my students know more because less time is being spent as a robot, and more time is being spent learning & growing.
Then we took #meaningfulnotes. Two students needed additional support, so I actually worked with them separately but had what we were recording projecting on the screen while the class recorded their thinking. Small group + full class support? 🤷♀️
