There’s a few differences between #MPTCP vs Speedify! MPTCP is latency based, uses multiple #TCP sockets but can only use 1 on each connection, it's less cost-aware; vs #Speedify can use 8 sockets on each connection & knows which connections are cheaper, & will use those first!

I would rather ask "Don't you still use Multipath TCP on FreeBSD?" There was ongoing work to implement #MPTCP v0 by an Australian guy Nigel Williams in 2012–2015 (sponsored by Cisco University Research Program Fund). Which seems later was just abandoned: lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/free…

Re @freebsd: when is it going to integrate the #MPTCP v0 patches into its' mainline kernel? And is there any effort done in implementing the v1 of this transport protocol? I very much doubt that.

There’s a few differences between #MPTCP vs Speedify! MPTCP is latency based, uses multiple #TCP sockets but can only use 1 on each connection, it's less cost-aware; vs #Speedify can use 8 sockets on each connection & knows which connections are cheaper, & will use those first!
