The Chevalier estate has a very ancient origin. In the 18th century, it was called “Chivaley” (knight in Gascon). It was run by Arnaud-Ricard, owner of Château Malartic-Lagravière. 61HA and the wines are based on #CabernetSauvignon #bordeauxwines #pessacleognan

Found this lonely bottle in my rack in Tuscany and it drank beautifully. Fresh and firm with lovely aromatics and tightness. Didn’t show the ripe fruit of the vintage now. More blue fruits and earth and stones. Time machine wine. #wine #bordeaux #pessacleognan @_Haut_Bailly_
