I saw a very good talk on career development by @trisha_gee at #prognet @skillsmatter a number of years ago.
I have found where I got it from Have I Got .Net For You. At #prognet 2017 25.57 into the quiz chaired by @dylanbeattie answered by @jonskeet - the version of c# makes a difference.
In this SkillsCast recorded at #ProgNET '19, @TRikace shares the benefits of #golang channels, and introduces an equivalent in #dotnet that you can use to achieve high performance with simple semantic. bit.ly/3lNRpjz
In this SkillsCast from #ProgNet '19 @michelebusta uses the lens of Game of Thrones to illustrate how you can survive the world of #microservices as a #solutionarchitecture: There are many pitfalls, but also many reasons it's worth the effort. Watch now: bit.ly/3bhacjB
@nicpereirahere is awesome. Having worked on #ProgNet (and other conferences) with her, you should definitely try to grab her

Totally agree. Been to the last two #progNet conferences and benefited greatly from going. Was there last week for #NetMatters with @konradkokosa. They have a great team there and hope something can be arranged for them.
Shocked to hear @skillsmatter going into administration. They've been an amazing supporter of development communities. I hope a workable solution can be found. My thoughts are with their fantastic staff at this difficult time ❤️
My first talk was @skillsmatter for #ProgNet very sad news.
I am deeply sadden by this turn of events. #LinuxingInLondon and many tech communities really enjoy the fine hospitality and active support of team #SkillsMatter I really wish them well :)
Hang on, I watched you deliver a really knowledgeable and comprehensive talk at #prognet ... methinks you're "just a bit" more knowledgeable than an "Associate" LOL 😃😃👍 (is the plan to go for more certs?)
I'm fairly sure this event won't be but there is a recording of the 45-min version from #progNet which you can register to view at skillsmatter.com/skillscasts/14….
I saw a this at #ProgNet, and you get an extra 15 minutes @DDDEastAnglia
After last week's #progNET, looking forward to this evening's @dotnetsoutheast with @markrendle talking about using DiagnosticSource to generate metrics from .NET applications & piping the data into a time-series database for use in dashboards. Register at bit.ly/2kNPfFm
I went to #Prognet @skillsmatter last week and here are some quick thoughts (and scans of my sketchnotes) about the day 1 talks blog.ninjaferret.co.uk/2019/09/15/pro…

Following a chat I had with @stevejgordon at #ProgNET I'm having fun playing with an experimental type called SocketPipe for retrieving SQS messages. I can't fit it all into one screenshot, so here's a sock puppet holding a pipe

This was another fantastic keynote from #prognet well worth a watch

Finally home from #progNET 2019 to find some light reading waiting for me after @stevejgordon’s workshop @skillsmatter. He wasn’t joking about the size of these. Reckon I could knock several people out swinging my rucksack around with these two @apress books inside.

For those at @stevejgordon's talk on performance @skillsmatter #progNET, there is now a book available from @apress. I haven't read it yet as awaiting it to be delivered, but may be of interest if you want to delve deeper

Be yourself at interviews. If they don't hire you because you were yourself, you probably didn't want to work there. You would be miserable every day going in to work. @trisha_gee at #ProgNET

Rewriting a monolith takes a long time with potentially no business value. @EltonStoneman suggests a feature driven approach. #prognet

Wise words on Continuous Delivery from @RoyOsherove #prognet - let the pipeline automate decisions humans are making. Don’t ask the devs if release has succeeded, check if pipeline is green!@RoyOsherove
